About Us
In a time long long ago, in a galaxy far far away... oops! This isn't how it goes. It started with three old hens clucking over coffee about how if WE ruled the world... From there it turned to poultry, eggs, shows and sales. The rest is history. Susan Woodliffe, Liz Munro and Shannon de Bruin decided to combine their talents, enthusiasm and warped sense of propriety to create Three Old Hens Productions. Our goal is to host top quality poultry events with a combination of professionalism and friendliness, to create and bring in new enthusiasts, and to have fun while doing it. Heritage breeds and family flocks are a big part of our focus.

Susan has always been an animal enthusiast; reptiles, insects, dogs, birds. Her love and fascination brought these animals into her classroom. When she seized upon the opportunity to live in the country and continue with her passion, Fox Hill Farm was born. Susan is one of Canada's foremost breeders of the rare American Blue rabbit. Cochins, Amarucana and Silkies happily cluck and peck about the farm as she works her magic on the potters wheel. |
| Combining business savvy and a love of animals, Liz built up a very successful animal care business. She then took her experience, and fashion sense, to her newest venture, poultry. After organizing a very successful sales meet, Liz decided to go bigger and better, and now it is an annual event. Liz specializes in Silver Grey Dorkings and is very active in re-establishing the rare Canadian Chantecler. |

Shannon spent her childhood dreaming of a farm filled with animals. This translated into a degree in agriculture and a life surrounded by animals. Her success with dogs, horses and alpacas has brought her quickly along with poultry. While she enjoys rare and heritage chickens, her heart lies with heritage turkeys.
